Žatika Sport Centre is a multi-functional hall in Poreč. It was built for the needs of 2009 World Men's Handball Championship, and formally opened on 21 November 2008.Total area of the hall is about 14,000 square meters, and has a total seating capacity of around 3,700 seats.
Fixed auditorium is located on the south, west and east sides of the hall, under the south stands are telescopic stands, and stands above the auditorium with a balcony. If the mounting stand will be needed they are provided by the northern facade.
The main hall has a surface area 2.000 m 2, small Hall has a surface area 213.4 m2 and 86.26 m2 fitness. At the floors is a space for setting up training pistes. Following are the large and small dressing rooms with sanitary facilities, storage of sports equipment, rooms for coaches, referees and clinics, facilities for technology and staff, along with toilet facilities and dressing rooms for visitors. Of additional facilities there are space for the administration, press conference, catering purposes and occasional flexible assembly facilities for events and fairs.
